FAST-Detroit, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, emphasizes the Filipino youth in the Metro Detroit area. FAST-D 's main objective is to promote physical and mental fitness through the development of various sports skills, all while applying the true spirit of sportsmanship, team development, and camaraderie.

Numerous paid and volunteer positions available throughout our many programs.
A vast majority of our annual budget to fund our programs is derived from our poker fundraising. Our next event will be at a brand-new location, G’s Kitchen & Cocktails, 56129 Van Dyke Avenue, Shelby Township 48316 from July 16, 2025, to June 19, 2025 (License No. M108407). No poker experience is needed at all.

40+ Basketball League at Oakland Fieldhouse, Rochester Hills
League: Sundays, starting September 14, 2025, and ending November 26, 2025 (12:00 noon to 4:00 pm).

Format: 8 games. Players (born in 1985 or earlier) must be of Filipino bloodline/heritage or married to/adopted by a person with Filipino heritage.

Cost: $900 per team with two referees and scorers. Limited to eight teams. Please submit a $100 deposit via Venmo (@fastdetroit) or PayPal to secure your team’s spot.

Pickleball Clinics & Adult League at UWM Sports Complex, Pontiac

Adults Beginner Level - September 27, 2025 (3:30 to 5:30 pm) - FREE - Register here.
League: Saturdays, starting October 4, 2025, and ending November 22, 2025 (3:30 to 6:00 pm). Two Levels: Beginners-3:30 – 4:45pm and Intermediate and above - 4:45 – 6:00pm

Format for both leagues: Mixed Doubles, 15 Players Max. Each game played to 11 (win by two). Four games for each person per day.

Volleyball League at UWM Sports Complex, Pontiac
Clinic: Youth – 17 and under - October 19, 2025 (12:00 noon - 3:00 pm) - FREE - Register here.
League: Tentatively to be scheduled to start early November 2025 and will run for five weeks.
